About

Hello! I’m a full-stack software engineer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I enjoy building software that is open, intuitive, and accessible - tools that people can trust, understand, and actually enjoy using.

I currently work at the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley as a Software Engineer, where I design, maintain, and evolve a wide range of public-facing and internal applications. My work spans everything from modernizing legacy systems to building new tools from the ground up, serving diverse audiences with very different needs.

At GSPP, I’m responsible for the school’s content management infrastructure, internal analytics dashboards, and several AI-powered applications, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) chat tools that make research and policy data easier to explore. I work closely with stakeholders across the organization, including faculty, staff, and leadership, to translate real-world needs into reliable, maintainable software.

My day-to-day work draws on PHP, TypeScript, React, and Python, and I’m especially interested in thoughtful system design, developer experience, and long-term maintainability. I care deeply about accessibility, performance, and building reliable systems for the long term.

If you’d like to talk about a project, collaboration, or just want to say hello, please reach out - I look forward to connecting!
